On October 28, 2025 the Department of Business Administration at Rawalpindi Women University organised a seminar on sustainability and Green Business practices, featuring Ms. Shizra Khan, Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at the Department of Management Sciences, NUML Islamabad, as the guest speaker.
Ms. Shizra Khan outlined practical steps for integrating sustainable practices into business operations, with particular emphasis on supply chain decisions and resource efficiency. She highlighted the growing importance of Green Business approaches for reducing environmental impact while maintaining competitiveness, and urged future managers to prioritise environmentally responsible decision-making in their careers.
The session was lively and interactive, with students engaging in discussion and exploring how sustainability strategies can be applied within Pakistani firms and organisations. The seminar enhanced attendees’ understanding of green business concepts and equipped them with actionable ideas for promoting sustainability in local business settings.
