RCCI and HRDN launch CSR partnership to mobilize businesses for plantation, women and youth empowerment and humanitarian response across Pakistan.

On December 8, 2025 in Rawalpindi, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and the Human Resource Development Network (HRDN) signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on corporate social responsibility, community development, environmental sustainability and inclusive social impact across Pakistan.

The agreement aligns RCCI’s business leadership with HRDN’s nationwide development network to scale private sector engagement. By forming this CSR partnership, both organizations aim to convert corporate resources and expertise into coordinated action that produces measurable community results.

Planned activities under the MoU include large-scale plantation initiatives, targeted youth and women empowerment programs, public awareness campaigns and a coordinated humanitarian response mechanism. The partners will leverage RCCI’s industry connections and HRDN’s field presence to reach urban and rural communities across the country.

Stakeholders say the collaboration is intended to strengthen community resilience, advance environmental sustainability and create inclusive opportunities through private sector-led social investment. The RCCI and HRDN partnership is positioned as a model for turning corporate responsibility into visible impact for communities throughout Pakistan.
