A Swiss delegation visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and held a fruitful meeting with RCCI officials, discussing opportunities for bilateral cooperation, sustainable business practices, and training development initiatives.
The Chief Guest, Acting President RCCI, Mr. Khalid Farooq Qazi, warmly welcomed the delegation, which was led by Mr. Anis Khan, President of Global SME Business Home. Accompanying Mr. Khan were Ms. Amina Ahmed Raza, Country Head and Representative; Mr. Gillies Philipona, Advisor; Ms. Afsah Ansari, Environmentalist; Mr. Saeed Ansari from Training Partners; and Mr. Saqib Majeed Sheikh from Global SME Business Home.
The RCCI delegation comprised Vice President Mr. Fahad Barlas along with several members of the RCCI Executive Committee. Both teams engaged actively in discussions aimed at identifying new channels for collaboration.
Key areas identified during the meeting included fostering closer business ties between Swiss and Pakistani enterprises, promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible business practices, and jointly exploring avenues for training and development. Both sides underscored the potential for mutual benefit through strengthened cooperation, particularly in small and medium enterprise (SME) sectors.
Participants expressed optimism for future interactions, pledging to create concrete steps towards achieving joint development and sustainability goals.
