RDA files FIRs in Rawalpindi against 6 unlawful housing projects

Six illegal housing projects in Rawalpindi have been targeted by the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate RDA.

The illegal housing projects include Atlantic City Housing Scheme, High Capital City Housing Scheme, Century Town Housing Scheme, and Shaheen Gardon. Mouza Thakt Pari Rawat, Shaheen Gardon in Mandra Gujar Khan, and Capital Valley in mouza Katarian and Thallian Rawalpindi.

The MP&TE Directorate was instructed by Director General RDA Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa to take legal action against unauthorized marketing and advertising of such programs. RDA cautions the public from investing in these schemes and advises sponsors to get NOCs or approvals from RDA in order to avoid strict legal action.

The RDA has written to numerous organizations to denounce the unauthorized promotion of private housing projects on social media, WhatsApp, YouTube, and other online applications. The MP&TE Directorate has been given stern instructions by the Director General RDA to take action against unapproved housing schemes, constructions, commercial endeavors, booking offices, and encroachment.
