Owner of the plan near Islamabad’s M1 Motorway has been served with a notice from the RDA, led by Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa. RDA’s Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate is in charge of this.

The RDA has ordered the developers of Moreno Enclave to stop advertising the illegal development immediately. They should get in touch with the RDA to arrange for the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) and legal approval. If this instruction is not followed, serious legal action will be taken.

The Director General has also directed the MP&TE Directorate to crack down on the shady advertising and marketing practices of the developers of additional illegal housing developments. Those responsible for these types of crimes will be subject to First Information Reports (FIRs).

It should be highlighted that the proprietor of the illegal housing project has broken Rule 37 of the Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Schemes Rules, 2021 by advertising and promoting the scheme. As a result, we will pursue legal action against those at fault.
