Rescue 1122 Gujjar Khan returned Rs6,216,550 and belongings to victims after a road crash; timely action and verification ensured safe recovery.

Emergency crews from Rescue 1122 Gujjar Khan recovered and returned cash and personal belongings worth Rs6,216,550 after responding to a traffic crash near the Gulyana turn. The team reached the scene following an urgent call and found a car that had collided with a pavement, leaving two occupants severely injured and semi-unconscious.

Rescue staff provided immediate first aid to stabilise the two victims while conducting a careful search of their belongings. Alongside three mobile phones and a wallet, the team secured cash totaling Rs6,216,550, preserving all items under strict custody. The recovered property was transported to the Rescue 1122 Gujjar Khan office after the injured were moved to hospital.

The on-site crew informed the in-charge of Tehsil Rescue Station Gujjar Khan, RSO Owais Saeed, who promptly contacted the victims’ family. Relatives arrived from Swat the following day and, after completing necessary verification procedures, the office returned the full amount and personal items to the family.

Media Coordinator Muhammad Usman of Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi confirmed the sequence of events and praised the team’s professionalism. District Emergency Officer Rawalpindi, Engineer Subghatullah, lauded the crew’s honesty and announced that commendation certificates would be issued in recognition of their conduct.

The swift recovery and transparent handover of the recovered cash and belongings drew appreciation from local residents and civic groups, who said the incident underscored the value of Rescue 1122 Gujjar Khan training and discipline in preserving public trust and social values.
