From Lahore to Dubai, Pakistan’s rising mixed martial arts star Rizwan Ali secured a first-round stoppage over India’s Rana Rudra Pratap Singh to move his professional record to 11–0. The swift finish came after a dominant display of speed and precision that left his opponent unable to continue.
The contest, staged under the Absolute Championship Akhmat banner, saw Rizwan impose his game plan from the opening moments and force an early referee stoppage. His composure and striking accuracy were evident throughout the brief encounter, further cementing Rizwan Ali’s reputation on the international stage.
Organised by ACA, a major Russian promotion, the event drew prominent attention and a significant prize purse. Rizwan walked away with PKR 5 million, a reward that underscores his growing profile as one of Pakistan’s most promising MMA talents.
UFC star Khamzat Chimaev attended the bout and personally congratulated Rizwan after the win, praising his skill and mindset. The presence and recognition from established international fighters added momentum to Rizwan Ali’s rising status.
Rizwan dedicated the victory to Pakistan and the country’s Armed Forces, declaring “There is nothing greater than Pakistan. This win is for my country, for our soldiers, and for every Pakistani who believes in me.” His pre-fight stance, including a refusal to shake hands and a vow to “teach him a lesson in the cage,” set the tone for the decisive performance.
He also paid tribute to the support network behind his rise, singling out Pakistan MMA Federation President Omar Ahmed for mentorship and international exposure. “Meeting Omar was a turning point in my life. He trained me, mentored me, and gave me international exposure,” Rizwan said, attributing much of his success to that guidance.
Rizwan acknowledged his sponsor ACTIVIT and its CEO Dr Rizwan Aftab Ahmed for financial and nutritional support, calling him “like a big brother” whose backing was instrumental to his progress. The combined support from federation leadership and private sponsors has helped transform Rizwan Ali from a local prospect into an undefeated international contender.
Omar Ahmed, founder of Brave Gym and head of the Pakistan MMA Federation, welcomed the victory as a milestone for the sport locally, saying the result signals a new era for Pakistani MMA and that fighters like Rizwan are leading that charge.
