Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Region, Babar Sarfraz Alpa, visited Murree Police Station to inspect facilities and performance, stressing the timely, impartial disposal of citizens’ complaints and fair investigation of serious criminal cases.
During his inspection, RPO Alpa was briefed by District Police Officer (DPO) Murree, Asif Amin Awan, about the district’s overall crime situation. The RPO thoroughly reviewed various aspects of the police station, including the building’s infrastructure, front desk management, detention cells, and official record-keeping practices.
RPO Alpa clearly instructed the police officials that every citizen complaint must be addressed promptly and transparently, ensuring justice without discrimination. Emphasizing efficient management of criminal investigations, he directed officers to swiftly apprehend suspects involved in severe criminal cases and resolve those cases effectively.
Furthermore, RPO Alpa stressed the timely updating and completion of police records and called on the department to improve public-service delivery standards, enhancing community trust and satisfaction in police services.
