RWU faculty sharpened skills in Project Proposal Writing at a five-day Islamabad training covering needs assessment, budgeting and AI tools.

RWU faculty completed a five-day training on Project Proposal Writing at the AKH National Centre for Rural Development in Islamabad from September 15 to 19, 2025.

The sessions focused on rationale development, needs assessment, stakeholder analysis and project design frameworks while also covering results-based management, budgeting and proposal formatting to help participants prepare competitive submissions.

Trainers placed special emphasis on practical techniques and the use of IT and AI tools to streamline proposal drafting, data analysis and monitoring, reflecting the growing role of technology in project development across Pakistan.

RWU faculty participants included Dr. Amber Sarwar and Dr. Javeria Amin, assistant professors in Computer Science; Ms. Tehreem Ali, lecturer in Business Administration; Ms. Kainat, lecturer in Sociology; and Ms. Tabassum Kanwal, lecturer in IT.

The hands-on modules and peer review exercises enhanced participants’ confidence in designing results-oriented projects and producing fundable proposals, reinforcing RWU’s commitment to ongoing faculty development for student success.

With strengthened skills in Project Proposal Writing, the participating faculty are better positioned to pursue collaborative research and development initiatives that can benefit students and local communities.
