The All Pakistan Women Rowing Championship 2025–2026 hosted by Rawalpindi Women University began on November 15, 2025, with an energetic and competitive atmosphere. Rowers representing 21 universities from across Pakistan arrived in Rawalpindi determined to test their skills, strength and sportsmanship in front of an engaged local audience.
Day 1 featured five demanding races: the 2000m open weight single, the 1000m two-person pair lightweight, the 500m open weight single, the 500m four-person lightweight relay and the 1000m two-person pair open weight. Competitors pushed through intense distances and tight finishes as university crews worked on endurance, timing and coordination in each event.
Spectators witnessed powerful performances and refined technique as athletes demonstrated teamwork and resilience, giving Islamabad and Rawalpindi sports followers much to celebrate. The promising start on Day 1 has set the tone for the remainder of the Women Rowing championship as universities build momentum and vie for podium positions.
