On December 3, 2025, Rawalpindi Women University came alive as students and faculty gathered for Funfair 2k25, a lively one-day celebration showcasing creativity and campus spirit. The event brought together participants from across departments, turning campus spaces into a colourful hub of activity and entertainment.
Various departments set up vibrant food stalls that highlighted students’ culinary talents and added to the festive atmosphere. The fair featured joyful rides and swings, along with extensive art and craft displays that attracted students and visitors alike, offering a range of engaging experiences throughout the day.
The event was inaugurated by senior faculty including Prof. Dr. Rooh ul Amin and Prof. Dr. Sobia Masood, joined by Director Student Affairs and Additional Registrar Dr. Huma Rauf and other principal officers. Dr. Huma emphasised the importance of co-curricular activities in building confidence, nurturing creativity and fostering social harmony among students.
Funfair 2k25 underlined RWU’s commitment to a holistic educational experience where academic learning is complemented by social and creative engagement. The university described the fair as an opportunity to strengthen community bonds on campus while giving students a platform to display talents beyond the classroom.
