RWU’s Character Building Society, in collaboration with the Department of Student Affairs, hosted a heartfelt Milad Un Nabi gathering to commemorate the blessed birth of the Prophet and to strengthen spiritual bonds within the campus community.
The program was attended by Member Provincial Assembly Tahira Mushtaq and the wife of Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Inayatullah Khan, underscoring the event’s community significance and the university’s emphasis on moral formation alongside academic life.
The proceedings opened with a solemn recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a series of Naats and Darood Sharif presented by students. The performances were prepared under the guidance of Lecturer Business Administration Ms. Javeria Tariq, whose mentorship helped showcase the students’ devotion and respect for the Prophet’s legacy.
Lecturer Islamic Studies Ms. Saima Bashir reflected on the Seerat-un-Nabi and highlighted central themes of the Prophet’s message, stressing brotherhood and the need to align all aspects of daily life with his teachings. Her remarks encouraged students to translate these lessons into personal and communal conduct.
The Milad Un Nabi gathering concluded with a sincere prayer for the progress of Pakistan and for the unity and well-being of the Muslim Ummah, reaffirming the event’s focus on spiritual renewal and communal solidarity within the RWU community.
