A delegation from the Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) Student Council took part in the STEM Feed Launch Event at the Pak-China Friendship Center in Islamabad, aligning with directives from the Higher Education Commission. The event, organized by the Ministry of IT & Telecom in collaboration with TikTok, marked the debut of a new digital platform designed to promote science and technology education in Pakistan.
Attendees included prominent officials such as the Minister of IT & Telecommunication, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and Minister of State for Federal Education, Ms. Wajiha Qamar. Both leaders emphasized the critical role that digital platforms can play in enhancing educational opportunities and driving progress in STEM fields.
During the event, Mr. Fahad Mohammad Khan Niazi, Head of Public Policy and Government Relations, underscored the new platform’s commitment to nurturing local STEM talent through interactive and accessible content. The STEM feed aims to create an inclusive digital space tailored to inspire and educate young learners in science and technology.
