RWU Student Leadership Sworn In November 2025

RWU student leadership took the oath on November 5, 2025. Dr Huma Rauf awarded sashes as new council, societies and SCALE representatives pledged service.

The Directorate of Student Affairs organised the oath-taking ceremony for newly selected student leaders on November 5, 2025, bringing together representatives from across the university to formally accept their responsibilities in student leadership.

New appointment holders and proctors of the RWU Student Council, appointment holders of RWU societies and clubs, and Lead Student Representatives of SCALE took their oath with visible commitment and pride, underscoring the university communityโ€™s emphasis on active participation and accountability.

The oath was administered by Dr Huma Rauf, Director Student Affairs, who also awarded sashes to the newly appointed leaders, a symbolic gesture marking the start of their tenure and public service within campus life.

The ceremony was attended by the DSA team and focal persons of RWU societies and clubs, whose presence reflected ongoing support for cultivating capable student leadership and deeper engagement across academic and extracurricular programmes.

As these student leaders assume their roles, the university community looks to them to uphold the responsibilities entrusted to them and to strengthen collaboration among the Student Council, societies, clubs and SCALE for the months ahead.
