The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi is actively carrying out beautification projects on Saddar Mall Road, particularly around the GPO Chowk underpass, aiming to enhance the city’s aesthetics and create a greener and healthier environment.
Director General (DG) of PHA Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, conducted a special visit to assess the ongoing beautification and enhancement projects at Saddar Mall Road’s GPO Chowk underpass. During the visit, he closely reviewed the development progress and gave specific directions to ensure greater effectiveness and efficiency.
Mr. Ranjha also inspected the horticultural enhancements carried out by PHA staff on the green belts of Mall Road. This included examining grass placements, plantation activities, and decorative planters installed around the area, as well as beautification efforts at the underpasses. He issued further directives to staff members aimed at increasing the area’s attractiveness and ensuring timely completion of all projects.
Speaking on the occasion, DG Ahmed Hassan Ranjha reiterated PHA’s dedication to providing citizens with high-quality amenities and facilities in line with the Punjab government’s vision. He emphasized the authority’s commitment towards turning Rawalpindi into a lush, clean, and attractive city beneficial to residents’ overall wellbeing. He also assured that the ongoing beautification and upgrading projects would be completed within the targeted timeframe.
