Sajid Ali Sadpara, a renowned mountaineer, together with alpine photographer Khalid Mehmood visited Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. During the visit, Mr Khalid Mehmood presented his documentary on Snow Lake while Sajid Sadpara recounted his experiences of climbing nine of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks.
The screening and Sajid Sadpara’s talk provided a close look at high-altitude expeditions and the craft of alpine photography. The Dean of Lady Reading Hospital highlighted LRH’s rich centennial history during the visit and noted the institution’s long record of service to the region.
The visit drew attention to Pakistani mountaineering achievements and the photographic work that captures remote glacial landscapes, reaffirming interest in Snow Lake and Sajid Sadpara’s contributions to high-altitude climbing.
