Mao also outlined plans for media coverage of the forthcoming SCO Council of Heads of State meeting, scheduled to take place in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1, 2025.

Participants emphasized the need for continued practical cooperation and increased coordination among the press services of member states. They also agreed to undertake joint measures to counteract misinformation and promote accurate representation of the SCO’s objectives in the international media landscape.
