SCO meeting in Bishkek reviewed the Kyrgyz presidency plan and readied Member States for the Moscow prime ministers' council to boost regional cooperation.

From October 14 to 17, 2025, the first meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization under the Kyrgyz presidency took place in Bishkek. The four-day session focused on aligning administrative and policy priorities for the Kyrgyz Republic’s 2025–2026 presidency.

The meeting brought together national coordinators from ten Member States alongside representatives of the SCO Secretariat and the Executive Committee of the Regional Counter-Terrorist Organization.
