SDO Pakistan and Climate Optics used a theatre performance on the third day of the sixth training session to draw attention to pressing social issues and to prompt participants to reflect, discuss and commit to positive action. The session combined creative storytelling with facilitated dialogue to deepen understanding and motivate practical responses.

Theatre was employed as the central learning tool, with performers portraying everyday scenarios that brought social challenges into sharp relief. The dramatization aimed to build empathy, reveal underlying causes of community problems, and show how individual and collective choices affect outcomes.

Following the performance, participants took part in guided discussions and small-group exercises designed to turn reflection into concrete ideas. These conversations encouraged attendees to identify practical steps they could take in their own communities and to consider collaborative approaches to address the issues highlighted on stage.

The activity forms part of a broader training program led by SDO Pakistan in collaboration with Climate Optics, which seeks to blend advocacy, capacity building, and creative methods to tackle social and environmental concerns. Organizers are integrating arts-based techniques throughout the series to reinforce learning and support the development of locally grounded solutions.

The use of theatre in this training demonstrates how creative engagement can complement traditional instruction, helping participants to connect emotionally with topics while generating actionable plans for positive change.
