SEE Pakistan 2025, the country’s largest technology and entrepreneurship expo, is showcasing Pakistan’s leading innovators alongside prominent international startups in an energetic forum focused on creativity, competition, and collaboration. The event, held at the Expo Center in Lahore, is organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (OIC-COMSTECH) in partnership with the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), positioning itself as a premier platform for nurturing innovation, entrepreneurial ventures, and youth-driven businesses.

A central highlight of the expo is the World Startup Championship, where the top 100 startups from across Pakistan compete for recognition and support. The championship’s international dimension has expanded this year with the participation of startups from OIC member countries such as Malaysia, Azerbaijan, and Mauritania. Teams including FORMETA from University Technology Sarawak (Malaysia), Irrigo from Baku State University (Azerbaijan), Your Scents from University Technology MARA (Malaysia), and Smart Fert from Mauritania joined the competition after an intensive bootcamp at the University of Lahore. These sessions covered critical topics such as mentorship, value creation, financial management, scaling strategies, fundraising, and digital marketing, culminating in live product demonstrations and pitches before a panel of judges and investors.

Complementing the entrepreneurial focus, the APSUP Academic Excellence Awards ceremony was held at the Governor House in Lahore. This event recognized outstanding achievements in academia and innovation, with participants including an international COMSTECH delegation featuring representatives from Benin, Senegal, Gabon, Bangladesh, and Mauritania, underscoring the expo’s global ambitions and cross-border engagement.

By bringing together world-class startups, academic leaders, and international stakeholders, SEE Pakistan 2025 is reinforcing the country’s status as an emerging regional hub for technology and entrepreneurship. The event highlights Pakistan’s growing influence in fostering a collaborative ecosystem for innovation and startup development both within the country and across borders.
