Senate Chairman Receives Condolence Visits for Cousin’s Passing

Parliamentarians and prominent figures from various sectors visited Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani at his official residence to offer their condolences on the passing of his cousin, former Federal Minister Syed Tanveer Hassan Gilani. The gatherings reflected broad support for Chairman Gilani during this period of personal loss.

Among those who visited were Governor of Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Magsi, several senators including Umar Farooq Kasi, Saifullah Abro, Falak Naz, and Hidayatullah, as well as Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Rana Qasim Noon, Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, former Senate Chairman Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader and MNA Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, MNA Naveed Jiva, MNA Nawab Iftikhar, and the son of Pir Naqeeb ur Rehman of Golra Sharif.

During the meetings, special prayers were offered for the soul of the late Tanveer Hassan Gilani. The son of Pir Naqeeb ur Rehman led a dedicated prayer session. Visitors expressed their solidarity with Chairman Gilani, offering thoughts and prayers that the family finds the strength to bear this loss and that the departed is granted a high place in paradise.
