**SHARP Lahore Engages Legal Community to Strengthen Access to Justice for the Vulnerable**
The Lahore team of the Society for Human Rights and Prisoners’ Aid (SHARP) held a productive meeting with senior representatives of the District Bar Association Lahore to discuss ways to enhance legal support and promote human rights, particularly for vulnerable communities such as refugees and asylum seekers.
Led by Field Manager Ms. Arooj Awan, accompanied by Lawyer Ms. Farzana Kouser and Legal Expert Mr. Shah Faisal, the SHARP delegation met with President of the District Bar Association, Mr. Mubashar Rehman Chaudhry, and former Secretary Mr. Umar Waqas Warraich, along with members of the Bar team. During the session, SHARP representatives presented the organization’s mandate and highlighted ongoing efforts in legal aid and advocacy, underscoring their commitment to ensuring access to justice for marginalized groups.
The meeting facilitated mutual understanding between SHARP and the bar association, creating a foundation for future cooperation and joint initiatives.
