SHARP-Pakistan joined the German Unity Day reception in Islamabad to strengthen partnerships on migration and human rights with international partners.

SHARP-Pakistan was represented at the German Unity Day reception in Islamabad by CEO Muhammad Mudassar Javed, attending an event graciously hosted by H.E. Ina Lepel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany. The gathering provided an important occasion for dialogue and relationship-building between Pakistani civil society actors and international diplomatic representatives on the occasion of German Unity Day.

The reception convened a distinguished assembly of diplomats and representatives from Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Portugal, Australia and Morocco, alongside key international organisations including UNDP, the EU, UNHCR and IOM. Discussions at the event underscored shared concerns around migration management and human rights protection, and highlighted opportunities for humanitarian collaboration across jurisdictions.

SHARP-Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening international partnerships and promoting cooperative approaches to migration and human rights challenges. CEO Muhammad Mudassar Javed emphasised the value of continued dialogue and joint action, noting the organisation looks forward to deepening engagement with global partners to shape inclusive, rights-based solutions and to help build a more resilient and equitable future for affected communities.
