In an official statement released through its Corporate Communications Department, the hospital described these accusations as false, misleading, and regrettable.
A spokesperson for Shifa International Hospitals stated firmly that such an event has never happened within their hospital premises, dismissing the claims being shared online as entirely baseless. “We categorically reject these allegations, as they are devoid of any truth and lack factual evidence,” the spokesperson stressed.
Expressing concern over the proliferation of misinformation online, Shifa International Hospitals urged media professionals and the wider community to act responsibly and ethically when addressing sensitive matters. “We strongly request members of the media to perform due diligence and confirm the reliability of their sources before sharing unsubstantiated information,” said the spokesperson. They also pointed out that no media representative or concerned individuals approached the hospital for verification or clarification prior to disseminating these allegations.
