Shifa University MBA students toured Parliament House Islamabad, learning about legislative processes and Senate roles during their Parliament House visit.

On 23 December 2025 a delegation of MBA students from Shifa Tameer‑e‑Millat University Islamabad undertook a Parliament House visit, receiving a warm welcome from officials of the Senate Secretariat upon arrival.

During the visit the students toured the Senate Museum where they were briefed on the history of Pakistan’s parliament, the stages of lawmaking and the Senate’s constitutional responsibilities. The guided sessions provided practical context for their studies and highlighted the working role of the upper house in the legislative framework.

The group proceeded to Gali‑e‑Dastoor where speakers outlined Pakistan’s constitutional evolution and discussed notable historical laws, giving the students deeper insight into how statutes and constitutional changes have shaped governance. This portion of the Parliament House visit tied historical developments to contemporary parliamentary practice.

The delegation also visited the Senate Hall to observe the chamber environment and learn about procedural norms and parliamentary traditions that govern debate and decision making. The experience offered the MBA students a close look at institutional processes central to Pakistan’s legislative system.

Students described the Parliament House visit as an informative and valuable educational experience and expressed gratitude to the Senate Secretariat for the detailed briefings and guidance provided throughout the programme.
