A 30-member delegation of Sindh government officers participating in the 3rd Mid Career Management Course (MCMC) under the Training Management and Research Wing of the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department visited Parliament House Islamabad on 4 February 2026 to study parliamentary procedures and the role of the upper house.
On arrival, officers from the Senate Secretariat welcomed the delegation and provided a detailed briefing on the parliamentary system, the lawmaking process and the functions of the Senate. The session emphasised practical aspects of legislative work and the administrative responsibilities that support parliamentary business.
During the study visit the group toured the Senate Museum and viewed a documentary outlining Pakistan’s parliamentary journey and constitutional evolution. They were taken to Gali-e-Dastoor where officials explained the significance of the Constitution of Pakistan and the democratic values it embodies.
The delegation also visited the Senate Hall and received briefings on the conduct of sessions, legislative procedures and internal administrative arrangements. Participants praised the Senate Secretariat for its hospitality and comprehensive guidance, saying the Parliament House visit would contribute to their professional development and deepen their understanding of parliamentary institutions.
