Portuguese Film “SNU” to Bring a Powerful Story of Love and Political Change to the European Film Festival Pakistan

A celebrated Portuguese feature film, “SNU,” is set to captivate audiences at the European Film Festival in Pakistan, offering a compelling blend of history, love, and political transformation. “SNU,” directed by renowned filmmaker Patrícia Sequeira, explores the remarkable life of Snu Abecassis, a visionary editor and one of the most influential female figures in post-revolutionary Portugal. The film follows her unique bond with Francisco Sá Carneiro, a leading political figure and founder of one of Portugal’s major political parties. Their relationship unfolds against the backdrop of a transformative era that reshaped Portugal’s political and social identity.
