Under the Empowering Bonded Labourers’ Voices and Participation project, SPARC has established a skill development centre in Multan to serve women from brick kiln communities across Sindh and Punjab. The centre provides vocational training aimed at helping participants learn practical trades, increase household incomes and take a more active role in community life.
Mr. Anees Jillani, SPARC Founder Member, visited the brick kiln skill development centre in Multan to observe classes and meet trainees. Photographs from the visit document instructors working with women on hands-on activities and highlight the centre’s role as a local resource for learning and support.
The Multan centre is part of a wider effort to offer targeted training and mentoring that prepare women for future livelihood opportunities. By emphasising skill development and community participation, SPARC seeks to strengthen pathways out of bonded labour conditions and foster greater economic independence for families in the region.
