Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation Raza Tanveer conducted an online meeting via Zoom with divisional SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs to review their performance and provide instructions for future actions.
During the session, SSP Tanveer emphasized the urgent need to arrest suspects wanted in serious cases and instructed officers to ensure that all murder cases are thoroughly investigated and concluded on merit. He directed his team to focus on the immediate apprehension of suspects accused in cases involving women and children and to prioritize the timely submission of charge sheets in these sensitive matters.
SSP Tanveer called on officers to further improve their performance based on key indicators and advised SPs and SDPOs to personally supervise the investigation of major and critical cases. He reiterated that delivering quality service and conducting investigations on merit remain the department’s top priorities.
