SINGAPORE: Tech Valley has been honoured with the Award of Appreciation for Excellent Partnership by Google for Education at the Google Partner Summit APAC 2026 in Singapore.
Umar Farooq, Founder and CEO of Tech Valley, received the award on behalf of the team at one of the region’s major education technology platforms.
The recognition follows Tech Valley’s partnership with Google for Education to support digital transformation in public and private sector institutions across Pakistan. The organisation has helped schools, universities, businesses and government bodies adopt modern digital tools, while equipping educators, students and professionals with the skills needed to use them effectively.
Tech Valley has also worked to improve access to technology by bringing affordable Chromebooks within reach of learners and institutions that need them most.
According to the company, its work has focused not only on access to technology but also on its effective and safe use. It has supported the responsible use of artificial intelligence in classrooms and workplaces and worked with parents, teachers and children to promote safer online habits at home and in schools.
The company said the award recognises this combined focus on access, skills and safety.
“This award belongs to every teacher, student, parent and institution that has trusted us to bring technology into their classrooms and homes,” said Umar Farooq, CEO of Tech Valley.
“Our goal has always been simple: technology in Pakistan should be affordable, safe and useful for everyone, not a privilege for a few. Being recognised by Google for Education on a regional stage tells us we are on the right path, and it pushes us to reach further, from cities to the communities that need these tools the most,” he added.
Tech Valley expressed gratitude to Google for Education for its continued trust and collaboration. It also thanked its partners across government, academia, industry and civil society in Pakistan and globally, saying their support had made the impact possible.
The company said it remains committed to building a digitally skilled, safe and future-ready Pakistan.
