TDAP seminar in Karachi highlighted Technical Textiles and Industry 4.0, announcing workshops to boost Pakistan's high-value textile production and market readiness.

The Textile and Leather Division of TDAP convened a seminar in Karachi on Technical Textiles and the application of Industry 4.0, bringing together industry leaders and academics to examine Pakistan’s potential for high-value textile production and smart manufacturing.

Presentations from experts at NED University, The Microfibre Consortium (UK), University of Technology Sydney and Utopia covered automation, sustainability and smart textiles, demonstrating practical pathways for manufacturers to integrate technical textiles and Industry 4.0 technologies into existing operations.

TDAP announced upcoming workshops and training programs designed to strengthen innovation and market readiness across the textile sector, with a clear focus on accelerating adoption of Industry 4.0 practices and expanding Pakistan’s capacity to produce competitive technical textiles for domestic use and export.
