TEVTA Students Return and New Batch Head to China

TEVTA students return from China as second batch of 70 departs today, strengthening vocational ties and study opportunities between Pakistan and China.

TEVTA has achieved a significant milestone as the first group of students enrolled in the Dual Diploma Program completed their third academic year in China and returned to Pakistan, marking a successful chapter in international vocational collaboration.

Today a second batch of 70 students left for China under the same initiative. Among them, 31 students departed immediately, including 20 from DAE Software Technology at Government College of Technology PGA Lahore and 11 from Advanced Construction Technology at Government College of Technology Taxila, highlighting the program’s focus on both digital and construction skillsets.

On behalf of the Chairman TEVTA, Regional Directors Ms. Uzma Nadia and Usman Ali were present at Islamabad International Airport to see off the students, with representatives from TANG China joining the farewell. The send-off underlined institutional and international support for the exchange.

The students are being welcomed as young ambassadors who will pursue academic excellence, technological advancement and cultural exchange. The Dual Diploma Program reinforces TEVTA’s commitment to expanding global learning opportunities and to strengthening vocational pathways for Pakistani youth.

By deepening ties with Chinese partners and offering international training, TEVTA students are positioned to bring new skills back to Pakistan. Authorities and partners extended best wishes to all students as they embark on this academic and cultural journey.
