The annual concluding prayers of the Baba Kalu Urs at Mansar Sharif drew thousands of devotees from across Pakistan and abroad, creating a charged atmosphere of devotion and unity. The event combined Quran recitation, naat, collective zikr and a special dua for the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan’s security and stability.

The ceremony was presided over by the shrine custodian Raja Sarfaraz Akram, and saw the participation of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan, Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah and Pakistan Muslim League leaders including Ali Dar. Prominent scholars, spiritual elders, former bureaucrats, journalists and representatives of various organisations also attended the spiritual gathering.

Raja Sarfaraz Akram emphasized that the core of the Baba Kalu Urs message is love, tolerance, sincerity and service to humanity. He said Mansar Sharif has long stood as a centre for inter-sect harmony and national cohesion, welcoming pilgrims from different regions and foreign visitors who come to receive spiritual blessings.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi paid tribute to the contribution of the saints in spreading messages of compassion, learning and social service across the land. He praised the shrine administration for their arrangements and commended the large turnout of devotees who participated in the rituals and prayers.

Other notable attendees included Dr Riaz Janjua, Raja Imtiaz Janjua, Raja Faiq, Raja Shehzad, Raja Haider, Waseem Abbas, Brigadier Asif, Syed Bashir Hussain Shah, Chaudhry Zia, Arsalan Masood and Chaudhry Gulfraz, alongside well-known ulema and custodians of other shrines. Organisers provided extensive facilities for visitors, including langar, accommodation, food services, security and traffic management to ensure a smooth observance.

The concluding dua saw the entire assembly immersed in a spiritual mood as devotees offered fateha, presented nazr and participated in devotional sessions. The Baba Kalu Urs continues to function not only as a religious observance but as a platform that nurtures unity, brotherhood and the enduring Sufi message across Pakistan.
