During his Faisal Mosque visit in Islamabad to attend a trilateral speakers meeting, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey’s speaker Numan Kurtulmus toured the iconic mosque and its precincts. The visit underscored the historic ties between Pakistan and Turkey and drew attention from officials and local observers.

The spiritual tone of the visit reflected longstanding brotherly sentiments between the two nations.
The Turkish speaker inspected various parts of the mosque and observed Islamic relics and artifacts preserved at the site. As a gesture of goodwill, he planted a sapling on the mosque’s lawn, symbolising growth and enduring friendship between Islamabad and Ankara.
