The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Islamabad organised a comprehensive orientation today for students from across Pakistan who have been awarded YTB scholarships. The session brought together newly selected scholars to prepare them for academic life and cultural transition in Türkiye.
H.E. İrfan Neziroğlu, Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan, addressed the gathering and shared practical advice and encouragement for students embarking on their studies abroad. His remarks emphasised the value of cultural exchange, academic excellence and the opportunities that YTB scholarships provide for professional development.
Representing the Türkiye alumni community, members of Türkiye Alumni Pakistan (TULIP) Dr. Shahid Javed Butt and Dr. Irfan Ahmad Gondal attended the event and engaged with the scholars, offering firsthand perspectives on studying and living in Türkiye. Their presence highlighted the alumni network’s role in mentoring and supporting incoming students as they prepare for their journeys.
Organisers extended warm congratulations to all YTB scholarships awardees and underlined their commitment to assisting students during pre-departure preparations and beyond.
