The Pakistani film “Umro Ayyar – A New Beginning” has been selected to represent Pakistan at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Film Festival in China, highlighting a significant achievement for the nation’s cinema industry. Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Muhammad Aurangzaib Khichi congratulated the filmmakers and praised the film as an important celebration of Pakistan’s rich culture, heritage, and storytelling traditions.
In his congratulatory message, Minister Khichi described the selection of “Umro Ayyar – A New Beginning” as “a proud moment for Pakistani cinema,” underscoring its significance both domestically and internationally.
