A new exhibit at the United Nations Headquarters is inviting visitors to explore the core values that have shaped the UN since its founding. The exhibit, launched in honor of the Organization’s 80th anniversary, features the original UN Charter—temporarily on loan from the U.S. National Archives—as well as historic photographs from the 1945 San Francisco Conference where the UN was established.
Through these rare documents and images, the display pays tribute to the enduring principles of peace, dignity, and global cooperation that have guided the UN for eight decades. The exhibition encourages reflection on how these ideals continue to inspire the UN’s work in addressing global challenges today.
