UN Women met with the SECP in Islamabad to build on a strong, ongoing collaboration and advance gender equality and women’s empowerment through ESG-aligned approaches.
These ESG-aligned approaches focus on promoting sustainable business practices, creating safe and inclusive workplaces, expanding equal opportunities for women, and strengthening corporate governance through greater transparency and women’s leadership.
Together, both institutions aim to embed gender equality in market practices and drive long-term, inclusive growth that benefits all, especially women and girls across Pakistan.
Progress on ESG-aligned measures and increased collaboration between regulators and the private sector can help translate policy priorities into practical changes at workplaces and in corporate governance, reinforcing accountability and opening pathways for women’s leadership.
