Usman Shaukat, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and CEO of Bio-Labs Islamabad, has been elected Chairman of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association (North Zone) for the 2025–2026 term.
The decision, taken during the association’s 60th Annual General Meeting, is being welcomed by business circles in Rawalpindi and by members of RCCI who see this as an opportunity for more effective industry advocacy and responsive engagement on regional concerns.
The election took place on October 8, 2025 at Faletti’s Hotel in Lahore during the PPMA North Zone AGM. Stakeholders noted the significance of having a representative with both industry leadership and local business chamber experience leading the association for the coming year.
Colleagues and supporters, including Khalid Farooq Qazi, extended their congratulations to Usman Shaukat, offering best wishes for a successful and impactful tenure focused on collaboration, regulatory dialogue, and strengthening the pharmaceutical sector across the north zone.
