Acting on instructions from Divisional Forest Officer Haripur Abrar Ahmed, a specialised forest team intercepted a vehicle loaded with walnut bark near the Chichiyan interchange on the motorway. The operation was led by Subdivisional Forest Officer Syed Tuqeer Ahmed Shah with forester Bashir Ahmed and forest guards Mehrab Khan and Waqar Younis, and benefited from effective coordination with the motorway police.
During the walnut bark seizure the team established a coordinated checkpoint, stopped and inspected the vehicle bearing number 9500, and subsequently took it into custody. After verification the vehicle was securely transferred to the Haripur forest office for legal proceedings. The operation reflects targeted enforcement by Haripur Forest Division to control illegal transport of forest products.
The field action near Chichiyan interchange followed direct orders from the divisional leadership and was carried out with clear roles for forest staff and police partners. The seized material and vehicle remain under custody pending formal legal action by forest authorities.
