WCCIPD tree name plate was unveiled to honour sustainability and continuity; members received priority access and discounted participation.

A name plate unveiling ceremony at the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peshawar Division marked the dedication of a tree planted in 2017 by former president Ms. Fauzia Inayat. The WCCIPD tree now bears a name plate that highlights the Chamber’s commitment to sustainability and institutional continuity. Members received priority access and discounted participation at the event.

The ceremony was attended by President Qurat Ul Ain, Senior Vice President Zara Imtiaz and Vice President Zareen Akhtar, joined by other respected members of the Chamber. The gathering underscored environmental responsibility and the importance of preserving the organisation’s legacy through living symbols such as the WCCIPD tree.

Organisers reflected on the broader significance of the initiative for women’s economic empowerment and community stewardship, a message captured by the Chamber’s motto خواتین کی اقتصادی خود مختاری. The new name plate will serve as a lasting reminder of the Chamber’s pledge to sustainable practices and to keeping institutional traditions alive for future members.
