A delegation of women from the Professional Wing, led by Khawaja Shahzaib Akram and Parliamentary Secretary for Women Development Saadia Taimoor, met with Punjab Minister for Health and Population Khawaja Imran Nazir at the Population House to discuss initiatives aimed at women’s empowerment.
During the meeting, participants engaged in detailed discussions regarding the role of the Health and Population Department in supporting the empowerment of women. The delegation also expressed strong commitment and support for the upcoming cervical cancer vaccination campaign, emphasizing the importance of active involvement from both the community and business chambers in the initiative.
Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir reiterated that under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, women’s health remains a top priority for the provincial government.
