Pakistan’s Noor Zaman has advanced to the finals of the Plate Event at the World Games in Chengdu, China, after a strong performance against Japan’s R. Tsukue. Zaman secured his place in the final by winning the match 3-1, with game scores of 11-7, 7-11, 11-7, and 12-10.
In contrast, fellow Pakistani player Nasir Iqbal was unable to progress, falling to Ronald Palomino of Colombia. Despite a close contest, Palomino won the match 3-1, with scores of 15-13, 13-15, 11-4, and 11-5, preventing Iqbal from reaching the Plate Event final.
Noor Zaman will compete in the final round of the Plate Event, aiming to secure a win for Pakistan.
