The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa branch recently hosted a Red Talk session centered on empowering youth to lead climate action initiatives. Organized by the Youth & Volunteers Department at the provincial headquarters, the event aimed to inspire young people to take an active role in addressing environmental challenges in their communities.
During the session, notable guest speakers including Noor-ul-Ain and Aizaz Ahmad—a COP29 delegate, youth climate advocate, and committed PRCS volunteer—shared their expertise and personal experiences. Their presentations highlighted the critical importance of youth engagement in climate change efforts and encouraged volunteers to spearhead similar projects at the local level.
To honor the commitment and efforts of the participants, the PRCS Vice Chairman awarded certificates of appreciation to volunteers. The initiative showcased the organization’s ongoing support for youth leadership in addressing the pressing issue of climate change and emphasized the value of volunteer contributions across the region.
