Chand Tara United Traders Group won all major seats in the Blue Area traders’ elections, sweeping the council and promising to address long-standing commercial concerns after a highly participated vote. Group leaders said the victory reflects traders’ trust and pledged to implement a practical manifesto, work collaboratively across groups, and prioritize resolving prolonged issues that arose during a period without elections.

Traders turned out in large numbers for elections that marked the end of a long hiatus in the Blue Area’s representative process. Leaders said the absence of an electoral process for nine years had allowed many problems to fester, and the recent vote was a clear mandate for renewed, accountable leadership.

Chand Tara United Traders Group announced its newly elected team at a press conference. Key officeholders include group leader Raja Hamid Jalib; chairman Haji Muhammad Naeem; vice chairman Muhammad Ali; newly elected president Muhammad Yousaf Rajput; vice presidents Fayyaz Hussain Anjum and Tariq Qureshi; general secretary Syed Imran Bukhari; and joint secretary Salman Khan, along with other senior officeholders.

Group leaders described the victory as a win for the entire merchant community and committed not to betray the confidence placed in them. They emphasized that their manifesto is not merely an electoral promise but a practical plan that they will implement through sustained effort, saying they will prioritize resolving the traders’ long-standing problems on a priority basis.

Leaders also stressed an inclusive approach, pledging to work with any group or individual that acts in the interest of the trading community and to rise above political differences. They expressed gratitude to the election commission for ensuring transparent elections and reiterated a commitment to carry the mandate responsibly.
