Chairman of the Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani visited the home of former Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to offer condolences on the death of Sanjrani’s father and to pray for the deceased.
During the visit, Chairman Gilani expressed sympathy to Sadiq Sanjrani and his family over their loss and conveyed the Senate’s support in this time of grief. He spoke with family members and offered words of comfort.
A Fatiha, a short prayer from the Quran commonly recited for the repose of the deceased in Muslim tradition, was read for the departed, as a gesture of respect and condolence.
The delegation accompanying Chairman Gilani included Federal Minister Jam Kamal, Khalid Magsi, Senator Nasir Butt, Senator Dilawar Khan, and Senator Abdul Qadir, who were present to show solidarity with the bereaved family. The visit underscored institutional support and personal sympathy from parliamentary colleagues.
