Senator Marri Invites Montenegro to ISC Islamabad

Senator Qurat-Ul-Ain Marri invited Montenegro's parliamentary vice-president to the ISC Islamabad on 11-12 November 2025, strengthening legislative ties.

Senator Qurat-Ul-Ain Marri, leader of Pakistan’s Senate delegation at the Women Political Leaders Summit in Podgorica, presented a formal invitation to the Vice-President of the Parliament of Montenegro for the participation of the Montenegrin parliamentary delegation in the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference scheduled in Islamabad on 11-12 November 2025.

During their meeting on the sidelines of the summit, Senator Marri conveyed special greetings on behalf of the Chairman of the Senate and personally extended the invitation, underlining Pakistan’s commitment to parliamentary exchange and cooperation.

The Vice-President of the Parliament of Montenegro warmly acknowledged the gesture, expressed gratitude for the invitation and thanked the Pakistani delegation for its participation in the Women Political Leaders Summit in Podgorica.

Senator Marri highlighted the value of continued dialogue between legislatures and encouraged Montenegro’s attendance at the ISC Islamabad, noting that the conference will provide a platform for legislative collaboration and the promotion of women’s leadership in parliament.

Both delegations welcomed strengthened parliamentary ties and agreed to stay in contact to facilitate the Montenegrin delegation’s participation in the November conference.
