Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry praised the creativity and innovation of young students at the launch of the ‘Youngpreneurs Initiative’ held at Westminster International School in Islamabad. Attending the event as chief guest, he commended the students’ entrepreneurial achievements and highlighted the importance of youth-driven innovation in Pakistan’s economic future.
The ‘Youngpreneurs Initiative’ is an innovative educational program aimed at fostering creativity, leadership, and business understanding among school students. Its flagship event, the ‘Youngpreneurs Launchpad,’ is the first of its kind in the twin cities and was entirely conceptualized and organized by students from grades four and five. More than 250 stalls were set up, featuring handmade crafts, creative inventions, and a diverse range of student-designed products.
Addressing the gathering, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry lauded the initiative’s emphasis on practical learning and entrepreneurship, describing it as “the seed of our future economy.” He said that the program represents a shift from rote learning to a modern educational approach that equips children with 21st-century skills such as financial literacy, negotiation, and critical thinking. “These young minds are not just preparing for the future; they are actively shaping it,” he remarked.
The Parliamentary Secretary reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting education models that inspire innovation and creative problem-solving among youth. He applauded Westminster International School for introducing a program that integrates academic knowledge with practical experience, helping students gain early exposure to business, innovation, and teamwork.
Barrister Danyal Chaudhry concluded by encouraging the students to continue exploring new ideas, pursue creativity with passion, and become future leaders contributing to Pakistan’s social and economic progress.
