Islamabad — Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Secretary General Iqbal Khan said the Jamaat-e-Islami Ijtma at Minar-e-Pakistan from November 21 to 23 will be a powerful expression of national unity and public solidarity, forecasting a turnout that will surpass previous records and signal a new political dawn.
Iqbal Khan urged every citizen to join Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman’s Badal Do Nizam movement to work toward a safe, strong and developed Pakistan. He said thousands of men, women and youth from Northern Punjab are expected to travel to the capital to participate in the Jamaat-e-Islami Ijtma and lend momentum to the movement for systemic change.
The secretary general made these remarks while addressing a special meeting of the District Shura, Zonal Nazm, UC Umra and allied organisation representatives under Jamaat-e-Islami Talagang. On the occasion, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami District Talagang Professor Muhammad Tahir Malik and other local leaders also addressed the gathering and backed the call for mass mobilisation.
Iqbal Khan instructed party workers to actively mobilise citizens for large-scale participation and to persuade them to join Jamaat-e-Islami’s peaceful struggle to end the outdated and corrupt system. He described the Minar-e-Pakistan Ijtma as the start of a decisive phase aimed at restoring citizens’ basic rights, implementing the Islamic system and securing a dignified life for all.
With the slogan “Change the System,” Iqbal Khan said Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman will present a comprehensive plan of action for national peaceful resistance and organised political struggle during the gathering, laying out the movement’s steps for peaceful reform and long-term national revival.
