CPDI convened CNBA Punjab partners in Lahore for the second day of the annual planning and review meeting, where participants reflected on the previous year’s progress, shared key achievements and discussed persistent challenges. The discussions centered on practical strategies to strengthen budget accountability and expand citizen engagement in provincial budgeting processes.
The session, facilitated by Mr. Faisal Munir alongside CNBA partners, focused on aligning upcoming activities and improving coordination among member organisations to promote inclusive budgeting across Punjab. Delegates examined approaches to deepen transparency, ensure wider citizen participation, and integrate marginalised voices into budget decisions.
The day ended with a group photograph and a networking lunch that reinforced the collective commitment to transparent and participatory budget practices in the province. Moving forward, partners agreed to prioritise collaborative monitoring, capacity building, and outreach efforts to advance budget accountability across Punjab.
